Y HALLO THAR. I'm Gen and I write obnoxiously long books. A series, in fact! The first of which is so obnoxiously long that it isn't even done yet! And so naturally here I'm going to focus on the second one.

But you see, this first book of mine is lacking...something...in two of the characters. I have them characterized perfectly in my head; yet somehow when I write them in relation to Book 1's storyline, they fall flat of my expectations because they are both relatively newer characters (I started writing the thing three years ago; they popped up around the second year) and yes, I do have a lot of backstory for them, but no, it's not quite written down yet.

So my NaNo this year is going to be two new things: 1) Narrated in first-person (which is a personal squick, but I have a feeling Ethan as a narrator will be hella awesome to work with *pinches his cheeks*) and 2) an entirely new plotline (aka, Book 2's plotline) that I haven't even ironed out yet.

But we'll see where this goes.

Basically?

Ethan, a vampire and general punk-ass, is working for the bad vampires now. Tealie, a witch and psychic, is trying to forget the Events of Book 1, including Ethan. Ethan is sent to kill Tealie for reasons I will not disclose. Wackiness ensues.

And so...yeah. :D
